Thankfully Mari’s injuries aren’t life threatening and he is currently recovering in hospital. The Arsenal defender is currently on loan with Serie A club Monza.

The police have arrested a 46 year old man in connection to the attack and have stated they don’t believe terrorism to have been the motivation.

A supermarket employee yet to be named died on route to the local hospital and three other victims are in serious condition.
